Our first blog post highlighted the history of vanilla, but now it’s time for us to talk about something a lot more interesting, and something that you may have seen spoken about regularly on our Instagram page! This is about the idea of ‘Fairtrade’. Remember this segment from our last post?
We’re sure that you’re aware that vanilla isn’t the cheapest spice around, and it can sometimes set you back more than you bargained for, but boy, is it worth it! As a company, we really wanted this section of our website (our blog) to highlight some things about vanilla that you may not know, including the history behind it, how it is produced, why we are an organic/fairtrade company, and much more!
